Harry PotterHARRY POTTER
Harry Potter is the young hero of J. K. Rowling's series of children's books. Harry is a normal enough boy (except for the fact that he's being raised by his Aunt & Uncle and lives under the stairs!) until one day he is invited to attend Hogwart's School of Witchcraft & Wizardry.
Harry soon discovers that he is in fact descended from a wizard father and witch mother, and is blessed with magical powers. J. K. Rowling's books describe the adventures of Harry and his friends as he battles to save the wizarding world from the evil of dark wizard, Lord Voldemort.
The books have captivated not only children the world over but their parents as well, and with the film rights now in the possesion of Warner Bros. a whole new cinema-going audience is being introduced to the young wizard! That was then this is now....
We have now come to the end of our amazing journey with Harry Potter, and what an amazing trip it has been . With Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 now showing at cinemas... the epic adventure ends with an incredible climax. If you haven't seen the last film yet, I can assure you it is immense. I would say, the best yet. I felt quite emotional watching my heroes and heroine for the last time. JK twists the story wonderfully... and even, in a way... leaves the door open!
On the red carpet at the Premier of The Deathly Hallows Part 2, J K Rowling was asked the question... will you write anymore Harry Potter books. Her answer was 'Never say Never'. In previous interviews, she has said this was definitely the end... hopefully not, we have all loved this journey, this magical escapism, our chance to actually touch some magic for ourselves, and for the grown ups among us, this superb writer's mastership has enabled us to re-live some of the much loved imagination of our youth, which sadly gets lost...
LONG LIVE HARRY POTTER!!!! And...

PLEASE NOTE: All of our magic wands are handcrafted from wood in England. Don't be fooled into purchasing a "replica" wand made from plastic or "resin" (a polite word for plastic) at twice the price! Our wands are the best & most authentic young wizard wands available. |
